The RS11 CANbus Engine Data Converter takes data from existing analog engines and converts it to J-1939 or NMEA 2000 messages for use by existing vessel displays on the bus. One RS-11 supports up to 2 engines.

**** COMING THIS FALL ****

The MD33 Dual Engine Monitor gathers raw analog and pulse data from the ships' gauges or sensors in addition to an NMEA 0183 input. The information is processed and displayed by the supplied C-port II software program on a Windows PC. Logging and playback of all displayed data is included in the software. The types of inputs that can be monitored are:

Analog voltage (volts, amps, water temp., oil pressure, ..)
Pulsed (RPM, boatspeed, fuelflow, ...)
Alarm (bilge pumps, faults, high-water, ...)
NMEA 0183 (GPS, depth, wind, ...)
NMEA2K / J-1939 messages (engine parameters)

The MD33 combines all of the above into a single NMEA 0183 output (Serial or USB) for use by the PC or other insruments. A CANbus interface is also included for sending/receiving engine data messages.
